    • Country (Omitted for privacy)
    • Charge:
      • Fraud
      Arguments asserted:
      • The charges brought against both applicants are politically motivated because one of the applicant’s businesses was posing a direct competitive threat against a business in which the former president held an interest. The criminal charges and Red Notices were being used to drive the Applicants out of business.
    • Basis for CCF’s decision
      • The lack of an appropriate answer by the NCB of the country on the Applicant’s contentions of lack of due process, lack of respect for human rights, and lack of lawfulness creates doubt as to the compliance of the data and prevents the Commission from concluding that the challenges posed comply with INTERPOL’s rules.
